So you’ve decided to purchase a caravan. You are aware of the responsibilities (including caravan insurance), the expenses and the maintenance that will have to be kept up. Do you know how to select the caravan that will be best for the purposes you have in mind? There are a lot of things to consider so you won’t be buying a caravan that is too large and costs too much, or is perhaps too small to suit everyone in your camping crew. Here are a few things to think about when looking for the perfect tourer for you.

One of the biggest deciding factors in your purchase will be how the caravan will be used. If you are looking for something to holiday in, you should consider how many people generally go along on the trip, you will want to pick something with enough sleeping berths for everyone on the trip. If you’re planning very short trips, the accommodations can be sparser — you may not need the shower, oven, built in televisions, and other creature comforts, but will want extra storage and perhaps refrigeration.

If you are buying your caravan for a more family oriented purpose, expect to look for more comfort options, and keep in mind how many people you will usually be accommodating. Will your partner or children be travelling with you? Everyone will want differing amenities that you will have to plan for. Remember though, the more options you select, more maintenance, and expenses will be incurred.

More important than all the things that have been mentioned above, is your vehicle. If you purchase a tow-behind trailer that uses a ball hitch, you should have a heavy duty suspension package, or possibly look into air shock absorbers. The vehicle in question should also be in good condition, with a fairly powerful motor. If the auto you use is under-powered problems could occur very quickly. If the caravan that has caught your eye requires a fifth wheel, the cost can go really go up.

Okay, now you know which caravans are viable options, and maybe decided on the size, number of berths, and taken into consideration your wife’s concerns about creature comforts and hygiene. Time to start looking!

There are numerous reasons why you intend selling your holiday park static caravan, but it takes more time to sell than to actually buy a static caravan. However, to ease your worry and help you sell your caravan, consider a few relevant tips:

• Inform about Your decision: It is best to let the holiday park authorities know about your decision to sell the static caravan. Usually it is one of the rules of the parks to be informed about such decisions and they be allowed to get a chance to buy it before the caravan is sold privately.

• Consider the commission: You may not be aware that the holiday park takes a commission on the sale of a caravan. As a standard practice, most parks charge a commission of about 15% but you can confirm from the park authorities about the specific commission that they levy.

• Set a price: With a little bit of research about the sale price of similar caravan models, you will be able to fix an asking price. You also need to ensure that when you advertise about the sale you mention whether the price includes all site fees or commission that is being charged.

• Be Specific in the Advertisement: If you intend removing all the accessories and content, especially if you intend buying another caravan elsewhere, be specific in the advertisement. However, in case you do not intend to, it is best to mention all that is available within the sale price.

If you consider some of these tips on selling static caravan, you will be able to target the right clientele and be able to sell off the caravan quickly. Most people tend to either overprice or are vague in the advertisements which leads to a delay in selling holiday park caravans.

Rising gas prices are driving consumers to curb their SUV’s and take the wheel of more fuel-efficient cars, but is this the right move? Many people think only about their immediate cost at the pump, and forget about the long-term effects. Trade-in value, driving habits, how much is owed on a car loan; these should all be considered before deciding to sell a used SUV.

The first tip is not to sell a car after less than 3 years of driving it. This is the time when a vehicle depreciates the most, losing 40 – 50% of its original value. A car can be used for a few more years, and still retain nearly as much value. SUVs in particular are quickly depreciating in value (8% in the last 6 months on average). Still, trading in the gas-guzzler may not save money. The gas may still be expensive, but it’s better in the long-run to get the most value out of the vehicle while being able to drive it for twice as long. It’s also important to know that the savings may not be immediate. For most, trading an SUV for a compact will cost more right now, but balance out years later.

Example: A consumer trades in a four-year old GMC Yukon, worth $17,314, for a new $24,076 Toyota Prius. The difference is $6,712. If the consumer drives 1,200 miles per month and gas costs $3.74 per gallon (national average), the monthly fuel savings will be $249.74. At this rate, it will take 27 months to pay back the additional cost of the Prius over the trade-in value of the Yukon, and start saving money from the lower fuel price.

Buying a small, fuel-efficient car is an excellent way to combat rising gas prices, but the sticker price is what dents your wallet. The average price of a compact car has increased by $2,532 since 2004. That’s nearly double the average price increase of all other cars. Right now is the worst time to sell an SUV, and also the worst time to purchase a compact car. Every situation is different and it may take some time to see the savings, but consumers must weigh all of the factors and compare all of the costs before making a change.

If you drive a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), your biggest expenses now would be your weekly gasoline bill. SUV is well known for its notorious appetite to consume fuel. This is unavoidable due to its weight and large engine capacity. Some SUV owners have decided to trade in their prized vehicle for a more fuel economy sedan. For those who choose to keep their cars, this article will share some SUV gasoline saving tips.

In order to improve the fuel mileage of SUV, it can be converted into a hydrogen hybrid. A hydrogen hybrid car is a vehicle that uses both conventional gasoline and hydrogen gas (H2) as energy source. H2 is chosen for its potency and high burning rate. To modify a SUV to run on hydrogen gas, an electrolysis device would have to be installed next to the engine. The purpose of the electrolysis device is to extract H2 from water. This is possible because water is made from 2 molecules of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen thus its name H2O.

For a Sport Utility Vehicle to run on water, the hydrogen gas has to be released into the engine air intake system. When the vehicle is moving, it will suck the H2 into the combustion chambers and combined with gasoline vapor. The gas mixture in the engine will produce a much large explosion thus generating more power. When a SUV is burning the same amount of fuel and achieving a high power level, it has a potential to travel further hence improving its gas mileage. It is a proven fact that a hydrogen hybrid SUV is much cheaper to run. As and added benefit for the environment, the water for fuel system is a clean technology because the only by product is pure water vapor released into the exhaust pipe.

It’s time for you to plan your move. You have a lot of different responsibilities to consider. You need to make sure that they are all handled with the utmost care and won’t impact your day to day operations. You need to find packing material, movers, a place to stay in your new city and maybe even find someone to buy you old property. However, there is a single step that many people overlook. This step can save you a lot of time and stress.

An Often Forgotten Step: Vehicle Shipping

If you are moving a long distance, you may be concerned about how you’ll get your car there. You will either need to drive the truck, or you’ll be flying there. Even if you have a partner moving with you, many families will have an extra car when a truck is involved. Fortunately, you can ship your vehicle with a vehicle shipping company and immediately ease this source of stress.

Find the Right Company

Your success with automobile shipping will depend heavily on finding the right company to perform this valuable service. There are more options than you might think, so you need to know how to find them.

An ideal shipping company, such as National Transport, will possess a few qualities:

Affordable pricing

Proven reputation for excellence

Punctuality

Quality references

You must continue to shop until you find a company that possesses each of these qualities. If you do not, you’ll be risking working with a company that may not treat your car well, charges too much or is not punctual.

Make sure that you do not forget this crucial step. It’ll save you from having to stress about what to do with your car. Instead, you’ll be able to focus on the other steps involved with planning a move. Spend time finding the best company that will provide quality service.

If you’re in charge of organising a hen do, you’ll want to make sure the bride-to-be’s last night as a singleton is as fabulous as possible. Starting the festivities with a limo hire London night out is a great way to go but make sure to plan ahead of time. The following tips will help ensure a great time for everyone, especially the blushing bride:

Get the guest list right – Avoid potentially awkward moments with unwanted guests by asking the bride who she wants at the hen party. Will the party be a small get together of the inner circle or is it to be a grand gathering of colleagues, friends and family?

Be savvy about scheduling -Contrary to longstanding tradition, it is not a good idea to have the hen party the night before the wedding. Nothing spoils a wedding day like a hung over bride and groom. Do try to coordinate the hen night to coincide with the stag party and do make sure both are scheduled on the weekend before the nuptials.

Respect the bride’s wishes – Does the bride want a quiet day at the spa or a bacchanalian night that will go down in the annals of debauchery? Check with the bride to make sure she gets the hen party she wants, not the one you thought she wanted.

Bring up the budget – but not to the bride. It’s her special do and she shouldn’t have to pay a thing. However, it’s important to have money matters worked out with the other guests ahead of time. Divide the costs equally amongst the guests and either have everyone make contributions to a kitty, or simply split the bill equally at the end of the night.

Make it personal -Items such as personalized t-shirts or shot glasses make for fun mementos and add a personal touch to the party. Make a special gift by having everyone sign a guest book and then present it to the bride at the end of the night.

Don’t forget the details – In order to pull off the party without a hitch, be sure to see to all the details ahead of time such as transportation for all the guests and possible group discounts for any activities. Perhaps most importantly, pace the party’s activities to avoid both lulls and feeling rushed.

With these tips, you’re sure to have a fab night and a happy bride.

The title of this article is intended for those who are concerning to invest their money but still do not know when to invest it and which investment that they choose. Some financial experts refer that some people are forgot that they need to secure their future because their current jobs might not give that kind privilege and if putting aside some of the earnings for saving is almost impossible, then the best solution to this kind of situation is by investing the money instead of using for something that considered to be a waste. Selecting which investment might take time but in order to short things up, you should invest your money in binary options trading.

It is normal that you question yourself on when you should invest your money because you have little knowledge about the whole investment and how that money works for you and offering you profit result. And by the time you already know about options trading as the appropriate investment, you can contact singaporekettlebellclub as it is one of the places where you can get information about binary options trading and getting trading demo as well. There is no exact time on when you should invest your money but the sooner you decide to do it, it is better than not doing it and postpone it.

One thing that you should know that if you decide to join binary options trading as form of your investment, then you need to assure yourself that you are willing to wait to collect the amount of profit that you expected. Most people are blinded by the amount of profit that they can obtain from the binary options trading and when they do not get it, they kind of obsess by it and trading carelessly because they need to get the huge amount of profit.

The VW Type 2 also known as the VW Camper was created almost by accident in the 1950s. In the article we run through how it all began, how the Type 2 reach such popularity, and what the future may hold for these iconic vehicles.

The vehicle behind the idea for the Volkswagen Type 2 was not initially meant for public consumption. The production of the Type 1 was in full swing (that’s a Beetle to you and me), and a roughly put together wagon for carrying parts around the factory was seen trundling round the site by a Volkswagen importer called Ben Pon. Pon is generally credited with coming up with the idea of another larger vehicle based on the Type 1 floor pan. He began sketching his ideas in 1947, but the VW factory was so busy building Type 1 vehicles there was simply no room to diversify.

When some capacity on the workshops was freed up production of a Type 2 prototype began. In just over 3 months the vehicle had been built, and after some tweaks to help make the vehicle more aero dynamic production started in 1949. Initially the Type 2 was offered in the Kombi format with side windows and removable seats, and the Commercial. Due to its construction it was easy to diversify the Volkswagen Type 2 range to suit a wide range of industries, and in the following years between 1949 – 1952 was also released as a canvas back, a tipper, a milk float, a pick up, a bus and even an ambulance. Of course the Microbus and Caravelle we all know and love today was also part of this range.

The split windscreen first introduced to reduce drag on the original vehicle earned the van the ‘Splittie’ nickname, however in 1967 this design was replaced by a single sheet of glass and the split screen was lost. Around this time a number of changes were made including the release of bigger engines.

In 1980 the Type 3 was introduced to the market, a larger version of the Type 2 with sharper edges and lines. A number of T3s can be seen on the roads today, and though they do not share the iconic status of the Type 2, many owners are just as proud of their T3 vehicles.

The Type 4 Transporter was the first to use the Transporter title, and many feel the T4 is the best Type 2 evolution since the original, however a sea of T5 owners may disagree. The T4 camper was customised by owners and professionals alike, with Westfalia carrying out customisations for Volkswagen themselves to create a saleable T4 camper van.

The T5 was launched in 2003, and is available in a range of trim levels and with a wide variety of custom options. The T5 camper van can be customised by a number of recognised custom fitters such as California, Westfalia and many others.

VW have seen tremendous success with the Type 2 range, and those that came after it. Still seen today as an iconic vehicle the T2 can command a large price tag, and a spot in the hearts of owners around the world.

The other day, I was at Starbucks and someone drove up with a classic car, it was a 59′ Stingray, and it was immaculate in every regard. Not a week had gone by in the last two years where this gentleman had not gotten an offer from someone to buy his car. He does take it to shows quite often, and he’s won numerous prizes, as it truly is that pristine. It’s so nice in fact that even when the weather is absolutely perfect, he is afraid to drive it.

However, when I met him, I was sitting on the patio as he drove up, backed it in, and parked his car. The reason he backed in is that he was afraid to back out because there would be a slight chance that someone else was backing out at the same time might not see him. He took absolutely every possible precaution he could to make sure no dents or dings would hit his car. In fact, there was a shopping cart across the parking lot, and he went and took it back to the shopping cart holder just in case, interestingly enough, the wind was blowing the other direction anyhow.

As I got to talking about all this with him and his fear of driving the car he explained to me that nowadays with kids doing text messaging, and not paying attention to their driving, or soccer moms with kids in the car using a cell phone, he just didn’t want to risk driving it unless the conditions were absolutely perfect, and he felt he was on guard and alert that day.I completely understand where he’s coming from, and although he does have insurance, he admitted to me he can never replace the car, no matter what happened. It was his baby, and he had done much of the restoration personally.

It seems unfortunate to have such a nice car and not be able to drive it, after all that’s what cars are for. He said there was nothing like driving down a two-lane highway with the top down just listening to the engine purr. I told him that I thought I saw that in a movie once or twice, and he laughed, because he had at one time rented his car out to the movie studios, but he said he would never do it again because he was afraid it might get hurt.

Yes, those are the risks of owning a classic car, and I heard it firsthand from someone who knows the fear and terror of even the slightest scratch. Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
